James + Taylor {October 24, 2020} Iowa Wedding

James & Taylor were married on a cold but beautiful fall day in October.  Their wedding was originally scheduled for June, but was pushed back because of Covid, like most events that were scheduled for 2020.  I am so glad they were able to have their event in the fall.  I am so excited when Taylor originally contacted me to photograph her wedding.  I went to high school with her mom and aunt (her aunt and I were classmates!) - it is always so fun to photograph for families that I have known my whole life.  :)

James & Taylor went ahead and were married in the spring, but we still celebrated their vow renewal in October.  I met them in the morning at the Carrollton Inn, where they were both getting ready.  We did their first looks at the hotel, then headed off to Swan Lake Park for their photos.  It was cold, but so pretty out at the park!  I am so glad we did all of their wedding portraits outside.  After the park we headed to Carroll Brewing Company - what a cool place!  We photographed the rest of the portraits outside and inside the brewery.

Follow that we all headed to the reception location in Glidden, where their vow renewal and reception was held.  Their decorations were stunning and the reception was full of dancing.
